Keeping Up with the Jones'

Welcome to @d85jones Blog. I am @d85jones, but my wife calls me Dave. I believe I am a up-and-coming tech-junkie. A few years ago, I was introduced to all sorts of media; web-design, graphic design, video editing, etc. and decided this was the life for me. Some call me a nerd and some call me a geek, either way I know who I am and am proud to be me.

I am married to the most beautiful woman ever. She is Egyptian and has the longest name I’ve ever seen; Janan Lucille Dia El-Din Mustafa Youssif (Soliman) Jones. She works hard in our home making it a place of refuge and a home of love. We have three blessings of God; two handsome boys, Trey Leon and Benjamin James, and the purtiest little princess ever, Emmaline Cathleen.

I graduated from Conversion School of Ministry in 2007 and am now back in school at IUPUC going for my Media Arts and Sciences Bachelor’s Degree. I also serve on the Media Ministry at my church, Strong Tower Ministries (www.strongtoweroutreach.net) as the; sound engineer, light engineer, web designer, and much…much more!

I currently am employed in the family biz, Pahl’s Lawn Care, Inc. where my step-father (Dietrich Pahl) is the head honcho. He is an incredible business man, but he is an even better Associate Pastor and father. He is married to my beautiful and loving mother, Michelle Pahl. And they have two beautiful daughters (my sisters) Brittany and Lindsey!

My intention’s for this blog is to voice my opinions about life, media and the church. I will also ask questions, so feel free to give your two cents as well.
