Image to Screen and Beyond

The first breakout workshop is titled Image to Screen and Beyond: Breakdown of Video Systems from Simple to Complex with Stephen Roberts and Ben Mankin. There are three topics they talked about; Acquisition/Content, Switching/Routing, and Display/Output. Mankin Media built The Block, which is the student ministry building for Southeast Christian Church. It is a $15 million dollar facility with a auditorium seating 1,500 people and four large class rooms that seat 250 people. It was a great class and opened my eyes to a lot that I didn’t know. It made me feel dumb, but I kind of know where to start when I go to research video in the future. There will be more to come later.
