My thoughts – Church Leaders, don’t be lazy. People are quick to assume that fads are just that, fads, and don’t take time to understand why it is a fad. And sometimes people can even judge fads saying that it is ‘of the world’ and that ‘God was the same yesterday, today and forevermore…AMEN!!!’. But I believe this has been an excuse for leaders to fall into being a follower. A leader needs to influence everyone he is leading, or he isn’t their leader. If half of your ‘followers’ use social media as a main source of communication, guess what? So should you!! A leader doesn’t just lead from their ‘leadership stool’. A leader, or I should say EFFECTIVE leader, influences people by getting down in the ditch of life with their followers and influences them to follow him. So leaders, don’t be lazy. Learn social media. Learn how to lead once again.
