Roadblocks

What is it in your life that prevents you from doing what you want or love to do? I know for me it was simply a priority of responsibilities. I am married, my wife and I have 5 children, I work full time, and I am a full time student. Therefore, due to the responsibilities of being a husband, father, employee, etc., I cannot just always do what I would like to do. If I was writing about this a few years ago, there would have been even more roadblocks. What I mean by that is I have begun to position myself to begin a career of what my dreams and desires are. And not only that, but being a father and husband ARE dreams and desires that I have. But that doesn’t change that there are still responsibilities of being a husband, father, employee that prevent me from being able to live how I would like at any given moment of the day. There will always be bills, deadlines, a honey-do list that take precedence over my desire at that moment. Fortunately though, by positioning myself into the career I love, by enjoying being a husband/father, there are plenty of times in my daily life that incorporate time to pursue the things I love to do. I remember living a life where I was always living just to get by. I had a job I hated, I always had an immediate financial need and those things didn’t allow me the freedom to do what I loved. Thankfully I was given the opportunity to change that. My life now has fewer roadblocks.
