AnnaLeigh Marceline Jones

Before Janan and I had Emma, I couldn’t see myself being a daddy to a girl. I had two rough and tumble boys, and I just didn’t think I’d be everything that a little girl would need. On January 28th, my second little princess was born. Her name is AnnaLeigh Marceline Jones. She is my paternal grandmother’s namesake (Marceline). She is absolutely gorgeous and I love having three women in my life.

But her first almost-month of life hasn’t been easy. We were just released from Columbus Regional Hospital. She was admitted because she had respiratory virus and her oxygen level was running very low. She remained on oxygen for 6 days and we had to go almost a whole day without it before they would let us go home. But, we are home now and everything is good.

During the time in the hospital, every one in our household was sick, besides Janan. Trey, Ben, Emma and myself all went to the doctor during that time and we were all put on antibiotics. Poor Trey was put on 5 medicines. It has been a rough but fun month in the Jones’ household. At times I’ve felt overwhelmed with school and not being able to go to class. But it seems as though everything is working out ok and God is remaining faithful as always.
